Australis Seed Company is very active in the Micro Green market, We stock a number of standard lines as well as some lines that are being generated through our own breeding. In fact we are starting to supply overseas companies with material and we are now selecting material specifically for use in micro greens.

Our breeding program is now aggressively chasing new material  - some ugly ducklings with promise with different leaf shapes at 1st true leaf stage. Notation of leaf color and plant vigor are taken in our breeding programs and being used to determine suitable selections. Taste is also being looked at with a wide range of flavor profiles being added to our selection list.

We have selected some excellent products including our Red Amaranth - Amarosa and we are working on a dark red basil with 99% plus red color
