Mizuna
Mizuna is considered an essential product as a bulking line in salad mixes. the seed is relatively cheap for the return to growers and generally its a simple crop to grow. The older standard mizuna - broad and fine leaf versions still have limitations. Australis has a dedicated breeding program for Mizuna and Mizuna crossed with other related species. The Patent Pending process for giving our lines thicker leaf, longer shelf life and increased overall yield has been a great step forward in this product line. The development continues and the potential is almost endless. Apart from Standard Mizuna we have 3 lines of our own breeding with a lot more variations on the way.

Baby Leaf Kale EX6147
We have been breeding kale variations for a number of years and finally are releasing varieties that are worth exploring as a baby leaf grower. The first variety has limited seed but please ask for more details. these lines are bred, selected and produced in Australia so have the benefit of going through our particular climate demands.
The first of the red kale has red color on both sides of the leaf, well incises leaf in the early stages of growth. and excellent uniformity.
Wild rocket
Australis Seed Company has a dedicated breeding program for Wild and Standard Rocket. Each year we produce about 5- 10 new varieties that will be available for limited trialing, some of these lines will have been bred with the best tolerance available in Wild rocket to Downy Mildew and will carry a high tolerance level. In addition you will see the development of faster growing and slower growing varieties to suit different climatic conditions.
